Example

Check if the value in the DataFrame is True or False:

import pandas as pd

data = {
  "myval": [True]
}

df = pd.DataFrame(data)

print(df.bool())

Definition and Usage

The bool() method returns a boolean value, True or False, reflecting the value of the DataFrame.

This method will only work if the DataFrame has only 1 value, and that value must be either True or False, otherwise the bool() method will return an error.


Syntax

dataframe.bool()

Parameters

The bool() method takes no parameters.


Return Value

a boolean representing the value of the DataFrame.
